There is nowhere in the country quite like Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The House of the Fairies is an odd structure built in the early 20th century in the Smoky Mountains. It is surrounded by mystery as to just what its purpose is, although it may have been related to the generation of electricity.

This all wood sculpture of the anime character, Chainsaw Man, is itself carved completely from a chainsaw. It sits in front of the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum, with a wax President Trump in the background. Quite a strange pair!
Speaking of Ripley’s, be careful walking by their haunted house on Parkway. You just never know who will be waiting to drag you inside.
Sasquatch is associated with the Smoky Mountains. There is even an annual Bigfoot conference that happens in Gatlinburg. These interesting statues, one of which is missing a hand, can be seen right next to the town psychic.
Gatlinburg SkyPark is home to the SkyBridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America. The bridge is currently adorned with the state flag of every state in the U.S., along with a gigantic American flag that can easily be seen from the streets below. For an even HIGHER view of the city, the chairlift at Ober Mountain takes you just about as high as you can go, offering this spectacular view. Learn more about Ober Mountain.
Sitting right in the middle of town, but hidden if you don’t know where to look, lies White Oaks Flats Cemetery. Resting here are many of the town’s founders, as the cemetery dates to 1830. During the great wildires of 2016, the fire mysteriously went right around the cemetery, as if protected by unseen forces.
The Gatlinburg Space Needle is a Gatlinburg landmark that looks truly awesome when lit up at night.
